1st December

The title of this post sums it all.

Its already the 1st of December.

Exam's just a week or so away, although not the paper that gets my ba**s shaking tremendously yet, but still.

the chills and frills[dont know why I use this word] of exams, really makes my heart pump faster and blood flow even faster. systolic and diastolic pressure increasing like mad with the number of days getting lesser. :(

oh well, I only have myself to blame if I dont get past this exam, for being a REAL slacker, a LAZY bum. All I want is just a pass in all my papers :) and I'll proceed to ACCA joyfully.

and I hope all my friends pass too! each and everyone of you!

Jian Yuan! :) your pout's nice too! hahaha

Nawal! :) so gonna miss you! :(

Bunch of new friends from G4! good luck as well!

And last but not least, OUR gang! :) good luck yo!

Down South

Last friday, the whole family went down to Singapore, to attend my cousin, Benedict's wedding. We left at around 7.45pm, after my brother finished his school and I finished my MOCK exam. Dad made some bihun as our light dinner, whilst we had sushi made by my sisters as well.
.
As we left Subang, everywhere was jammed up, so we had to take another direction to enter the North-South highway, which delayed us abit more. Throughout the journey, I did nothing but sleep, eat, listen to music and SMS-ing my fellow ABS-ASS. Sadly, not all of em reply, but thanks a lot to those who replied! really kept me company throughout the boring 3hours+ journey.

Sushi [leftovers]. had 2 box filled with em.
.
Reached the border around 11pm, it was smooth as there were many counters opened to cater to the incoming cars from Johor, mostly Singapore cars. Because right, entering Singapore with a foreign car, after 7pm on Friday till Sunday at 12am or so, we do not have to pay a certain 'fee'.
.
As we went passed the border, I was shocked at the fact the the Causeway Bridge aint that long/far afterall. It was just a short distance to Singapore. Upon reaching, we straightaway head towards Pasir Ris, with the guide of my mum's cousin's email's directions. Get it? :)
.
Went to mum's cousin's house first at Pasir Ris to get the apartment keys' and chill out awhile, had a slight supper, that time was already 12.30am and the groom, Benedict, was still awake! The apartment is actually located very nearby the house and also close to the 'beach'. Its a 'beach' as in not really a proper beach, and the waters are dirty, filled with bacteria it seems. Hence, no one is allowed to swim.
.
The next morning, we woke up early for the church ceremony. We only slept about 4hours. It was a church located at Siglap Hill. Very the nice and awesome church.
Some paintings on the walls

Soon after, we headed back to the house for the tea ceremony. Those who arent married received angpow as well! :)

After that, we just headed back to the apartment to take nap till about 5something, before getting ready for the dinner at Amara Sanctuary Resort at Sentosa Island.

Visit from the UK

I know I'm supposed to update this like.. few weeks back or should I say 1 month or so ago?!?! Hahahahha, so so sorry for the DELAYED post! was busy with exams and stuffs like that.

Anyhow, cousins and aunt came down from the United Kingdom during that Raya week, stayed for about 12 days at my house, with trips to Redang and Penang in between the 12 days that they were at Malaysia.

S and Aunt T slept in my room whereas M and her bf, C took the other room. They arrived on Monday the 21st of September, about 5.30pm. Dad and I went to pick them up from KLIA. It was such a great feeling meeting em again as we've never seen them for like 3years already, minus the chats we had over Skype and Msn laaa!

After picking them up, we headed straight to Subang Airport, where we had our dinner nearby, at the famous 'Hokkien Mee' restaurant! yuummmy~! We headed home straight after dinner as Uncle Peter was in KL with his family, hence he decided to drop by our house to see my aunt and cousins, so we were home by 8.30pm or so. Unpacked all their stuffs and gifts and things they brought for us from the UK. Aunt got me a sorta-gangsta-look-like-chain whereas S got me a pair of comfy sneakers and sandals! Thanks a bunch! ;)

The next morning, we head for breakfast, which is dimsum, with Uncle Peter and his family, before cousins and aunt and Christine and dad went to 'tour' KL. The rest of us went back to our respective homes. lol
Their first and foremost destination = Batu Caves

KLCC

Some temple which they stopped by on the way

At the temple, dont he look like a monkey? :D

S impersonating the TIGER. RoaR!!

Butterfliess~
The following day, they woke up very early to catch their flight to Penang via AirAsia. Dad called a cab to send them to LCCT. The rest of the days without them were very much dull and boring! :(

Them at some place in Penang

Humungous buggyy~!

Snakess~ :)

The couple's turn! M's so scared of it, look at her!

On Saturday the 26th, it was M's birthday. Various, and I mean all sorts of plans were made for this day, like where to eat, who to invite, what to do after that. And finally, we decided to eat at Klang, seafood that is. There wasnt alot of people at that restaurant, it was either we were late or maybe just early.
Anyway, the food was scrumptious/awesome! :) fills my stomache well!
M and C~ sweeettt...

They got back on Tuesday, which they went to Pyramid straightaway after they landed at Subang Airport, dad fetched em there. And that was where they bought us our "surprise gift". Thank you so, so much for it!! We're really enjoying it! even my friends hahaha

Another family photo taken
We went to Petaling Street on Wednesday, they waited for me to end class at 11am before taking the KTM to KL Sentral. Took a loooonnngggg stroll from Sentral to Pasar Seni, then to Petaling Street. They bought loads of souvenirs from Pasar Seni, bargained like crap, just for their friends back in the UK.
Thursday morning, they had breakfast with TaiYeePoh

and then they head to Putrajaya

whereby she has to wear this to enter the mosque

Crumble that my sis made with my aunt whilst they went Putrajaya

and the delicious cheeesee cakee. lasted quite a few days! super sweet!

Just a slight update

Although this may be an obsolete news to my CAT classmates, but to the rest, you may not know this shockingknown fact.

Its the fact that I somehowexpectedly FAILED my audit paper. And its only in CAT level. I have not even advanced to ACCA, which the papers are undeniably even tougher than what we can expect now.

Truthfully, I'm a person who never fails my exam papers, any of them!! except coming close for BM once la! And luckily, its only a Progress Test, not to mention if failing the real/bona fide paper in December. That would have pulled me back and have to wait another 6months before taking that paper again in June2010. Hence, I really dont wanna fail! ;(

The all so special 'reward' I got for failing a paper apparently, is a free lunch from Veena! :). Well, we had this bet going on between us, that if we do fail any of our papers, we would buy the person who failed a lunch, to console his/her feelings. hahahaha. It may sound ridiculous, but it is beneficial to one party. I almost got my 2nd lunch for T7, as I thought I'd fail it too, considering the fact that I left some theory questions unfinished.

All the best to CAT + ACCA students in their upcoming MOCK! ;) studyy hard oh! Gambateeeh~
